2.2 Error Tracking (Sentry)

We use Sentry to monitor and fix technical errors. Sentry may collect browser type, operating system, error stack traces, and page URLs where errors occur. When full consent is given, Sentry may also record session replays to help diagnose issues. Sentry processes data under their privacy policy.

2.3 Local Preferences (localStorage)

We store your theme preference (light/dark mode), language selection, and cookie consent choice in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

2.4 Text You Enter

Text you enter into the typo generator is processed entirely in your browser. It is never sent to our servers or any third party.

2.5 Contact Form

If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit. This data is processed by Formspree under their privacy policy.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users and track sessions. Sentry may use cookies for error tracking and session replays. LikelyTypo itself does not set any first-party cookies — we only use localStorage for preferences.

  • Accept all: Full Sentry error tracking (including session replays) is enabled alongside analytics
  • Decline error tracking: Sentry is not loaded. Google Analytics continues to operate under legitimate interest

8. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings. Sentry retains error data for 90 days. Contact form submissions are retained until the inquiry is resolved.
